Perfection
5I’ve been using the St. Tropez self Tanners for a number of years and have always liked them. I recently purchased the express tan for an upcoming vacation and I also finally gave in and bought the tanning mitt. Admittedly I thought it was a bunch of nonsense but I had an Ulta coupon so I figured why not. OK first of all the express Tanner is even better than the original formula I’ve been using for years: Super easy to apply and develops really in natural looking color quickly. I know I read other reviews that said it stays “wet“ but that was not my experience. It does stay a little sticky for a while but even salon spray tans do. As for the tanning mitt? I have been a fool for so many years! Makes application so much easier and more consistent. No more hasty handwashing. No more plastic surgical gloves. And while I can’t explain the how or the why, I will tell you that they result in the most consistent, streak free, natural looking tan I’ve ever gotten out of a bottle. One last thing: I read a lot of reviews were people complain about the formula being greenish. Well, it is greenish. I’m not sure why anyone would care; I’m sure that there is a very valid scientific reason which is part of the result of a supernatural looking tan. 10/10

5I am a fair-skinned redhead. I used this in the middle of a week-long beauty pageant because my professional spray tan started to fade. I figured I would put it on, lounge for an hour, and shower. I woke up four hours later. Not only did I think I would be ridiculously dark, but I fell asleep with my hand on my thigh and woke up with a hand print in the guide color. I kid you not— once I showered, the color was amazing and there was no hand print in sight. It’s mistake-proof!

5I’m probably the whitest person you will ever meet & every self tanner turns me orange except this one!! I am so in love and so glad I spent the money on this. You should definitely buy this!!

5I have been applying this product for almost 2 years now, St. Tropez is the only self tan that doesn’t make my skin itchy and red. Even tough I have really fair skin, st tropez makes my tan look very natural. Can’t wait to try more products.

4I’ve used several self tanners but I decided to try this St. Tropez Avanced Express Self Tanning Mousse. My tan came out a very natural color. Waiting 3 hours after application, however, was difficult because the product never fully dried in areas such as my neck, armpits, and joint areas. I like to sleep in my tan but this product strongly recommends not leaving it on longer than 3 hours. It has a pleasant smell while application but definitely leaves that “self tan smell” while setting and about a day after application. You can’t really avoid this with any brand though. My favorite thing about this tan is its lifetime. It lasts me about 4 days but rather than getting patchy and needing intense exfoliation, it gradually fades. I didn’t give this 5 stars because of the setting / drying process. Otherwise, great self tan. Highly recommend.

5FakeBake was always my favorite self tanner. I wanted to try St. tropez for a long time but I just couldn’t get myself to spend so much! I was out with a new friend who was telling me about how much she loves the Express so I finally gave in and bought it. The color seems to be more cool toned than Fake Bake, which I like. Initially I didn’t notice the DHA smell but the next day I definitely did. It wasn’t as strong as some others but I guess you can’t really get away from it. Anyway, I’m pretty fair skinned and left it on for two hours. I was pretty happy with the results the next day but I wanted a little darker so I did one hour the next day. Turned out good! I also used it on my face by doing a light sweep after I was done with everything else so there wasn’t a ton of product on the mitt. I did exfoliate and shave the day before and moisturized afterward.

4This self tan is amazing it gives your a natural healthy looking glow. This was my first time using it and I loved it. The only downside is it is a little bit tacky while you wait the 1-3hrs but well worth it because you look amazing after!

5I have been using St Tropez for a while now and had recently seen the express mousse on QVC, so I decided to purchase. I am absolutely in LOVE with this mousse. It gives such a natural, not streaky, bronzing glow. I would recommend to anyone!

5This is so easy to apply, and streak free! It blends in so well with any skin type. I usually put it on at night before bed and then go to sleep. When I wakeup around 8, I take a shower and it’s unbelievable how well distributed it is all over your body. Not only that, but the color of my tan is identical to a tan you’d receive laying in the sun for a week at the beach! No orange tint at all, just golden tan. After a week and a half it still goes strong. Spray tans and other products tend to become splotchy in areas when the product wears off, but this gradually fades away with no sign of splotchiness! 100% recommend!
